Replacement parts must be the same as given in the Parts Catalog. Park the tractor on a hard level surface. Shut off the engine and remove the key from the switch. If necessary, drain the oil from the engine crankcase. Remove the U-clamp 1 from the air cleaner to turbo inlet tube assembly 2.
Remove the assembly from the tractor. Remove the heat shield two front mounting bolts 1 and nuts. Remove the heat shield assembly 2.
Loosen the air cleaner inlet coupler clamps 1 and move the coupler 2 up and off the air cleaner housing 3. Loosen the hose clamps 1 and remove the aspirator tube 2 from the check valve and air cleaner housing. Remove the three platform to frame mounting bolts, washers and nuts. Remove the platform from the tractor. Remove the overflow hose 1 from the deaeration tank.
Remove the hose P-clamp 2 from the tank base. NOTE: It is not necessary to remove the brace to remove the engine, but it will allow easier access to other components. Remove the two deaeration hoses 1 from the tank and remove the P-clamp 2 from the hood support frame. Install lifting straps 1 on the hood support assembly as shown. Attach the straps to an overhead hoist 2 and support the assembly. Mark the position of the bracket on the frame.
Remove the two LH front hood suppor t bracket mounting bolts, washers and nuts. Remove the two RH support bracket mounting bolts, washers and nuts.
Install plugs in the hose ends and caps on the compressor ports. R e m o ve t h e t o p r e a r compressor mounting bolt 2 and remove the ground wire 3 from the bolt 2.
Install the bolt 2. Attach the load rotor to an overheat hoist. Any lifting device that is not in-line vertically with the lifting brackets can damage the engine rocker arm cover or cause bracket failure.
