L ooks like you restored the backup to online state and trying to restore another backup again on top of it.. I am sorry , I am not quite sure what you mean by snapshots?? Please explain your requirement and what you have so done far.

My understanding so far is, you have a backup and trying to restore the backup in stand by mode but the problem is you already have the database in 'online' state. Do you see a database called " ECATraining" in you object explorer? Does it have 'Recovering' next to it?? Can you query any of the tables inside the database?? Can you help me?

What is "DatabaseRestoreMany"? What commands execute this proc? Do you try to restore your diff backup without prior restoring full backup? DatabaseRestoreMany is a store procedure that is written by someone else before.

Today is wednesday. I had restored the full back up of the db on sunday. After that, i have been restoring my diff back up day by day.

When my job try to restore the diff back up to reporting db, it has crashed and throw like that an exception. That's why, i restored the diff manual. Yesterday and today, i saw the same issue.
