The details of the scholarly project and product are dependent on the topic and student interests. Additionally, each concentration has topic-specific experiences and coursework requirements. Concentrations have required or recommended pathways that fit well with the medical school curriculum and calendar. Campus placement is based on a 4-year attendance commitment at the selected campus.

Applicants will be screened for medical school eligibility and then invited to complete a supplemental application to select a preferred campus location.

Applicants should shadow a minimum of three physicians and participate in meaningful medical and service-learning activities before applying to IU School of Medicine.
