Overall, Rome: Total War is a lot of game for the money and perfect for strategy fans. Racing games satisfy your need for speed, and the best Android games present you with a wide range of possibilities.
In the end, though, the goal is to reach the finish line first by any means necessary. Asphalt is a long-standing racing series and quite often the go-to on mobile. The series pushes the boundaries, both in good ways and bad, and the ninth iteration, Legends, is no different. While it might leave you wanting for a truer Mario Kart experience, Tour is a fun little racing game for people who don't necessarily want the high octane action you'll find in the other options on our best Android games list.
Riptide is another longstanding series, but this one involves speed boats or hydrojets, to be more accurate. Renegade is that same action that a lot of people grew up with, just on your phone. The story isn't too bad, with the game feeling like the equivalent to illegal street racing, only on the water.
Riptide GP: Renegade is a lot of game for the asking price with plenty to do. It also has multiplayer support, both online and local split-screen. The sports action moves to the small screen, with the best Android games including everything from soccer to baseball to football. If there's a ball, racket or club involved, there's probably an equivalent version of the sport on Android. Konami's eFootball PES is a soccer game with tight controls, solid gameplay, and rewarding outcomes.
It's a push by Konami to break into e-sports, since it features a great competitive online mode. The complexity of the game tailors itself to suit your own play style. If you're a soccer fan, this might be the one for you. This is, note, a simulation. It begins with time trials that have you pass through specific colored gates, and ends with you taking on AI opponents, occasionally — and unsportingly — blowing them up with weapons.
At first, the twitchy controls will find you repeatedly smashing into tracksides and wondering if someone should take your hovercraft license away. But master the tracks and controls alike, and Repulze becomes an exhilarating experience as you bomb along toward the finish line.
Rush Rally 3 brings console-style rally racing to Android. The game looks the part, with very smart visuals and viewpoints, whether belting around a racing circuit or blazing through a forest. The controls work well, too, providing a number of setups to accommodate a range of preferences tilt; virtual buttons — and skill levels.
If you're fed up with racing games paying more attention to whether the tarmac looks photorealistic rather than how much fun it should be to zoom along at insane speeds, check out Horizon Chase. This tribute to old-school arcade titles is all about the sheer joy of racing, rather than boring realism. The visuals are vibrant, the soundtrack is jolly and cheesy, and the racing finds you constantly battling your way to the front of an aggressive pack. Anyone expecting the kind of free-roaming racing from the console versions of this title are going to be miffed, but Need for Speed: Most Wanted is nonetheless one of the finest games of its kind on Android. The games involve unique and challenging portal-based puzzles. You have to figure out the best way to manipulate your surroundings and navigate to the end of each puzzle.
The witty writing polishes off this series even more. There are areas where you can only play single player, like the first few levels of Portal. Eventually, you can play online with friends, and the games become a new, enjoyable experience.
These two games are definitely ones to add to your collection. You have to fix up the farm and learn to make a living from growing and tending to your crops, fishing , mining, and more. Over 30 non-player characters NPCs in the game are unique and interesting to talk to every day. You can eventually choose from some of the NPCs to marry and have kids with later in the game. The developers also added a multiplayer function a year or so ago, so now you can play the game with up to 3 friends at one time.
From finding all the artifacts for the museum to trying to reach the bottom of Skull Cavern, there is plenty to keep you engaged in this game. Phasmophobia is a VR-ready indie game that puts you and your friends in charge of investigating the paranormal. The game has become a streaming phenomenon, and you can count on being scared. One of the best aspects of Phasmophobia is the interaction.
The game also incorporates famed ghost hunting devices like night vision cameras and spirit boxes. Whether or not you believe in the paranormal, Phasmophobia packs hours of fun for you and up to three friends.
